3-Eight Communications founded in 2018 by Lisa Gingell - a name devised from the three disciplines of PR, Marketing and Sales to create integrated communications strategies that are delivered across eight communication channels.
With over 20 years’ experience in the communications sector, Lisa began her career in Edinburgh, Scotland at Burt Greener PR, working with big names in the music (DF Concerts and T in the Park) and fashion industries (McArthurGlen Designer Outlets) before moving to PR agency Weber Shandwick Worldwide (WSW) working with a variety of clients in the property sector.
In 2001, Lisa joined the family business in Derbyshire (FAW Electronics), to head up all marketing and communications activities and in 2004, established and became co-founder of t-mac Technologies, a leading IoT enabled mini BeMS (building energy management system) and cloud-based device.
t-mac Technologies made its name within the banking, retail and utilities market space before being acquired by Utilitywise in 2015.
Lisa’s experience spans media management, event management, fashion, music and property PR, her position as co-founder of her previous technology business t-mac, brings a wealth of commercial and industry experience in the energy, utilities and BIoT (building internet of things) space.
Lisa launched 3-Eight Communications in 2018 – a bespoke communications consultancy for the energy, utilities, IoT and building controls sector.
